Under the Freedom of Information Act 2000, I would like to request the following information. Please provide the number of romance fraud reports received through Action Fraud and its successor service, Report Fraud, in calendar year 2025 and calendar year 2019, broken down by: (a) victim sex (b) victim age band (under 25, 25–34, 35–44, 45–54, 55–64, 65+) For 2025, please combine reports made to both services. If you cannot break down by both sex and age together, a separate breakdown by each is fine. If this request would exceed the appropriate cost limit, please advise me under section 16 what information you could provide within it. Yours faithfully, James Bayley
