I am writing to request information under the Freedom of Information Act 2000. Please provide the number of people (drivers and passengers) issued with a fixed penalty notice or other enforcement notice for failing to wear a seatbelt in a motor vehicle, for each of the following calendar years: * 2016 * 2017 * 2018 * 2019 * 2020 * 2021 * 2022 * 2023 * 2024 * 2025 If the information is recorded as the number of offences/notices rather than the number of individuals, please provide that figure instead. I am only requesting the total figure for each year and do not require any further breakdown. If you can't provide the full 10 years, please provide the last 3 years.
